Yes, it's far too cheap. It's in China. The seller has 10 feedback all obtained on the same day within 2 hours of each other, all from users with names like sqddkwyx who all have 10 feedback as well. Do not under any circumstances send this guy any money.

Have a look at the transactions that the feedback has been "earned" from. They can't even be bothered to create a fake auction.

I always check previous transactions as well as feedback just to be on the safe side.

It is certainly getting bad now if scammers can set up a profile and get bogus feedback without eBay batting an eyelid. This auction is still running. It is so obviously a scam that I hope this helps avoid anyone using the buy now option. I notice there are no payment options listed either. They will probably request Western Union upon completion.

The rule with ebay is always, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is and if you think it is legit, there are ways of ensuring your safety still by following these simple rules:
1) Check feeback and also check that the kind of things previously sold and the location of the seller matches the current auction. ( don't buy a DLP projector from someone in Europe who previously lived in the USA and sold handmade tea cloths!!)
2) Always get a landline phone number and if in any doubt, call it to confirm the caller is who they should be.
3) Use Paypal where possible if the seller is a verified user and pay with your credit card which covers you against fraud.
4) Email previous buyers and ask for details of the transaction. Check the info you get against any answers you get from the seller.
5) If you have good feedback and the seller doesn't have any/much, suggest paying on receipt of item or using an escrow service (third party holds funds and once you receive the item, they release the funds to the seller)
6) If anything at all doesn't seem right, walk away. Plus never...and I do mean NEVER pay for anything using Western Union or similar as you are basically throwing your money down the drain.

This auction in question fails on most of these points and it is fairly safe to say it is best avoided.
