Hmmm not sure it will be good enough. I know it won't do RGB to component.

I would recommend something along these lines. Bit more cash though.

Unfortunately you'll need to spend a little more than £6.99, as the Sky box SCART doesn't output a component signal. A well-rated converter which I've seen in action is this:

http://www.futureshop.co.uk/qed-scar...tor-p-399.html

Also, bearing in mind that only the "TV" SCART on the sky box gives an RGB signal (only composite on the "VCR" port), you'll presumably be wanting to split the output between your TV and PJ. If so, you'll need one of these:

Yes but you found it cheaper!

PS I've actually got this model with Sky running through it so I know it works.

SIM2 30H projector

could some one help me Please Please?

i have the new Humax 2000 and the pictures are stuning on my pioneer, but when i conect it to my SIM2 30H projector using the same HDMI cable i see the picture but it is projected green.

Now i know that it not the SIM2 or the cable because when i then use the same cable but from my Quailtv HD SAt which is showing Euro1080
the picture is all well and good. however the only thing that is different is that i convert using a DVI converter to HDMI

what am i doing wrong

Hi Barijohn

I am thinking of getting a converter such as yours.

Can you give me some feedback on the difference in picture quality between using a good quality s-video cable, or a converter and good quality component cable.

Thanks

BS

Not sure on S-VIdeo as I have my projector set back 10m and I don't have a S-Vid lead that long! However the quality on the projector using the convertor is very good, considering Sky's limitations!

Football can be a bit blocky but only HD's gonna change that and I'm not rushing to be an early adopter.

Soz.
