Projector Connector!

Hello People

Quick Q here.....I will be soon buying a projector and wants to know this, My projector can be between 7 - 10 metres away away from the Kit Rack when I've installed it, depending how I run my cables. Its going into my garage conversion !!!!...what I want to know is what would be best connecting it as I don't really want to spend load on a cable that long!!!...anyways should I connect it Via HDMI or Component...

Me thinks I will probably be getting the TX200 as this seems to get best reviews and the bulbs are cheaper!!!

Cheers guys

HDMI. Digital leads suffer less from signal degredation over longer lengths. I got mine from www.bleustreamaudio.co.uk which cost me only £38 for a 10m lead, but if you google you will find loads of cheap ones.

If you have a DVD player with a HDMI socket then you will get a better picture using this option.

I have played with both connections to my PE7700 and the HDMI is a noticable winner.

Using this option also keeps the Component connection free for another source.
