H79 Remote Control Trouble

Hi

I can remember reading a post from someone who was having problems with their H79 remote control. I have just taken delivery and although the remote is working, it is somewhat hit and miss.

Whoever you are, did you resolve the problem?

Does it depend on where you point it or is it hit and miss in the same spot?
I find that with my H78 i have to point it pretty much towards the ir sensor on the pj.

That would be Petrolhead. Ping him with a PM if he doesn't see this. AFAIK he got a replacement remote sent out and all was well afterwards.

The remote for my H79 seems to put out a fairly broad and strong signal. I just point the remote at the screen and it bounces back and operates the projector.

Thanks

inzaman, it is definitely a problem as I was pointing it straight at the sensor.

Allan, cheers
