Best Place for Compressed Air

I bought a can of compressed air from Maplins for £8.99.

Certainly did the trick at removing dust spots from my projector, and clearing the gunk from the fans - but £8.99 for a smallish can seems a bit steep.

Unless of course, it was specially hand made, oxygen free air with neutrino ions to improve the quality of my viewing pleasure - in which case, it was worth every penny!

So - where do you buy yours?

The manual for my Sanyo Z3 specifically says not to used air dusters as they have the potential to damage stuff. They give you a little hand puffer to use instead.

If you really want them RS sells 'em pretty cheaply. That's Radio Spares, not Richer Sounds.

Regards

Mark

sure you were joking and really know , but all air weighs something, if you compress it you fit more of it into a given space

The problems not weighing but how you see where it is to weigh it, once you've picked you air up you just plonk it on the bathroom scales !

Surely you weigh the can before the compressed air is forced in....then weigh it after and measure the difference?
