I have a PJ-TX100 which I bought when it first launched. Initially I was very happy with it, however over time the
VB has gradually got worse (or I spend more time looking for it) and now there is what I thought was a dust blob (feignt round tennis ball size green image being projected) and a green cast only visible in dark scenes on one side. I have an extended warranty with TADL Assist but they have had the projector back and if anything it came back worse and they claim it's not a dust blob but something to do with the optics which is just part of the manufacturing process.
Anyway, the way I see it is I have 4 options :-
1) Sell as is fully describing problems and demoing to prospective purchaser, let them take it up with TADL as the warranty is transferrable. Any ideas how much it would be worth in this scenario (above problems aren't great but they do irritate me and I am itching to buy something new anyhow).
2) Try and get it fixed with TADL again myself (have no real confidence in there ability to fix it really).
3) Get someone who knows what they are doing to take a look (any suggestions?)
4) Put up with it because really it isn't all that bad (wife hadn't noticed any problems until I pointed them out to her and TADL intially said they couldn't find any faults!)
Any comments guys?
