Marantz S4 price has been cut.

Marantz have shaved about a grand off the price of the S4.
Noticed the price drop in the latest edition of HCC, so checked Avland and indeed the price has gone down. the New price is £6999, which is still a tad steep but better than the previous price of £8000+

Marantz's 1080p looks due in June, which explains the price cut, no doubt they want to shift the last lot of stock before the new model is out.

I think anyone buying an S4, even with the price drop, in 6-12 months time may deeply regret it. I just wonder where the hi-end 720p single chip DLP market will be in 12 months time.
