Infocus IN76 - High Power

Anyone know how much the life of the bulb will reduce by running the PJ on high power ?

I prefer the picture on this setting, but if it will reduce bulb life by 50% it may not be worth it.

InFocus claim 3000 hours lamp life for both modes, however I still believe that the lamp would last longer in the low power mode.

its possible that it can last 3,000 hours in high power, if so its possible it could potentially last up to 4,000 in low power.....but they dont claim low power runs any longer so people a) dont expect it to and b) dont use it much past 3,000 and buy another bulb instead

Remember the expression "The candle that burns twice as bright only burns half as long" ...nothing's for free.
A bulb may go on for 3000 hrs but I'll guarantee the image is dull and muddy as hell by then.
