Unhappy Sanyo z2 replacement bulb

last night i sat down to play some games on my 360. i was determined to get through a few races on ridge racer 6, so i flick the projector on and wait for it to warm up. previously for about a week i'd noticed it seemed a little darker than usual, last night it had a bit of a wobbly warming up and flickered a fair amount.

then about 10 minutes in, POP! and the room was dark... speakers still blaring japanese hardcore.

balls.

so i have 2 questions...

1) where do i find the bulb timer? (though i can't use it anyway until i get a new bulb).

and

2) where can i find a bulb for less than the £275 i seem to be finding everywhere?

thank you!

Hello,

You might have a look here
http://www2.computeruniverse.net/sea...lt_english.asp
Search for 'Sanyo Ersatzlampe LMP69' (Ersatzlampe = replacement bulb).
You'll find it on the second page near the end, it selles for € 294 VAT included which is about 200 bp. You should of course add the shipping costs to that.

Somebody else just ordered a bulb from them too and was very satisfied with their service (so was I)

**Edit: this is the link to the thread I was referring to: German Company - Computeruniverse, anyone used?
