Question Advice needed on new projector?

I am looking at buying a projector for using with my Xbox 360 and watching some TV (e.g. World Cup). My budget is £500 and so far I can only find the Benq W100 that is in this price range.

If anybody has any suggestions on other projectors within my budget or has experience of the Benq W100 it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Martin.

Have you considered the second hand market. I recently picked up an immaculate Panny AE500 for £440 with only 109 hrs on the clock.

I have been looking on ebay for a couple of weeks now but cannot find seem to find anything, and I am also worried about the projector arriving with a broken bulb!

I'm pretty much in the same boat with a similar budget!

Also a bit unsure about second hand as it's my first projector and the expense of a broken or almost gone bulb concerns me.

Regarding the second hand arena. If you were to go down the eBay route then you would be taking your cash in your hands.

However here at AVForums we have very good trading forums, with some very decent traders. You should always have a look in there for whats going on. Theres usually the odd PJ for sale.
