Ok what projector to get ???

Ok i done all the work on the search !!!

Iam after one of these, vpl hs50... Or the hs60.

I want the 60 as its newer then the 50 But is it better ???

My mate has the hs50 witch has a good picture.
I wont be getting it untill june but its doing my head in now as i still dont know what one to get as i havent seen the hs60 running.

I have a 8 foot screen .

Thanks And hope somone can help me out on this.

The 60 is better in that it's got a newer generation panel, with improved contrast ratio. That said, I'm in no real rush to replace my HS10 which sits a good few generations back now.

After a quick bit of Googling, it seems the HS50 is £1250 at RobertWhyte, and the HS60 is a touch under £1500 at Comet of all places. You'd get another £50+ off that Comet price by joining quido.co.uk - So, if it were me, I'd probably go for the HS60 - it's not *that* much more expensive.
