DLP Projector Problem- Help Needed

Hi There,

I recently bought a *cough* secondhand Dell 3200MP DLP projector off eBay. The seller told me the lamp had had 300 hours use, and it arrived I powered it up and sure enough, it said 300 or so hours on the clock. I tried a dvd through it and everything was hunky dory.

However the second time I powered it up, it warmed up with the Dell loading screen as it should, but then just as a warm-up time runs out, the image disappears and the Lamp warning LED lights up. Now I know that the lamp works fine as a perfect picture appears during the warm-up period.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Help would be much appreciated. Cheers.
