I believe it can do anything from 50hz to 100hz . Use the auto function to search for the signal. If you still have no joy, you may need to treat the signal as a PC signal and activate the PC auto function in the menu. (see page 31 onwards in your owners manual)

Like I said, it may have to treat the incoming signal as a PC signal. You need to use a component input which is assigned to PC. The make sure the auto PC select function is activated.
Try connecting the X-Box but leave it switched off, turn on your pj and then turn on the X-Box. Hopefully it will register the connection and search for the correct sync to the signal.

It was the 360, because i the cable on HD setting the 360 does not allow you to change the pal settings on that option, need to change the cable to normal TV output and low and behold the PAL settings change appears, what a carry on, cheers for all your help m8

You say the PLV-Z2 can do 50hz to 100hz then do you know if it will work in 3d mode with shutterglasses like nvidia 3d vision? As far as I know to be able to do 3D it will have to be able to have a true input of 85hz, is this what the PLV-Z2 has?

Many thanks in advance
