Question InFocus LS110 projector questions

I am new to the home cinema scene but looking to set up a system shortly. I have read quite a few reviews on various projectors and for my price range the InFocus LS110 looks like a good choice. I have also seen a demo of this projector connected to an interlaced PAL DVD source and it looked very good - however I am not an expert and don't necessarily know what to look for. Some questions I have are:

1) Does anyone have any comments about the LS110 in general

2) I noticed that it can only handle 480p progressive inputs and does not handle 575p (confirmed by technical department at InFocus). Does this mean that I cannot take advantage of progressive scan DVD players of which the majority only support 480p NTSC material ?
