Claiming "The worlds first 1080p projector"

Why is it that every manufactor seems to be claiming "The worlds first 1080p projector"

Everytime i see a new banner its some company making this claim, I want to know who really was the first (and i mean first to retail)

And in a scotish voice i shout "There can be only one!"

Sony?
Sim?
ProjectionDesign?
xyz?

There have been 1080p-capable CRT projectors around for a long time - Barco Cine 9, for example.
