I had an ET1 as my 1st pj and it was good, the image was great for the price. However ive just bought a Panny ae500 from a guy on the forums and it only has 180 odd hours on the lamp and is like new and that didn't cost much more than a new ET1. It would be worth hunting for a good 2nd hand one as the difference between the ET1 and my panny is unbelievable, really really chuffed with it.

Tosh ET1 is a million and one times better than the Panny 100. As the above poster says though - the Panny 500 is much better than both!!

The Tosh is a lot better than the Panny 100 and could (can??) be bought for £380 inc p&p new. I personally would buy the Tosh if you can find one.

P.s. make sure that the distance for projection is right though as they have a limited digital zoom!!

Yeah look to buy the ET1. But also look around in the classifieds for cheap AE500's.

Tosh's own website now has them listed as an 'archive' product so I suspect they'll be hard to get hold off (at a sensible price atleast).
