S-video and TX200 glitch

I have a 10m s-video lead running to my TX200, I have tried s-video with three sources. Two work fine but the other has a glitch. The faulty picture is mostly monochrome but there are patches of colour where the colour is a strong one. Anyone seen anything like this before?

The bad source is a Philips 1500 Freeview box and unfortunately it’s the one I want to use . The box and cable work fine with my CRT.

Have you tried changing the set up in the philips box, video options set to s-video out? I had to change mine when I started using rgb scarts on a freeview box once.

Worth a try, sorry it that doesn't help.

Regards

I've got it set to s-video Ok, it works on a CRT TV just not on my PJ. Whilst googling for answers I have discovered my Philips DTR1500 is one of the most hated freeview boxes on the net! Thanks for the suggestion.
