Throw distance calculator!!

You may know about this already, but if you go to :

http://www.projectorcentral.com

And follow a link to the projector you are interested in and then look for a small calculator Icon in the product specs you can enter ONE of:

Distance to screen:
4:3 - diag, width, or height
16:9 - diag, width or height

and it will fill in the rest for you.

So I am considering a Panny TA PJ and entered 115Inches as my 16:9 screen width and it told me the distance range I would use for positioning the PJ from the screen.
Very cool

Thumbs up

Great link. Exactly what I needed. Helps my poor little brain from hurting too much doing maths.

^ Bump ^

I used this site for its calculator. Very handy in determining the potential position and distance for a PT AE100 if I get one (hopefully).

Check it out. Dodgy is right.
