As per subject: Shortest projector ceiling mount?
Apologies for double posting but I'm not sure which section is likely to get the most views...
Thanks in advance

Have you tried LMP? They will, IIRC, custom them for you so you can have as short a tube as you wish. Well built mounts too

How about making your own from angled 90degree steel brackets - mine are stainless and work a treat. I made an adjustable cradle for under a fiver!

Cheers for the replies, but are there any ready built mounts with as close to zero distance between ceiling and projector as possible?

I bolted a piece of MDF to the PJ and then screwed the MDF to the ceiling

Petrolhead, well done for managing that without optical lens shift.

Nice, might give that a go
Mr. TX100: does the fan run any louder as a consequence of reduced convection cooling when mounted flush to the ceiling?

Mine's on a beam hence not flush.
I doubt it would have any significant effect for the totally flush installation, unless it was a particularly warm evening perhaps.
