Using A Multiviewer To Show Three Split Complete Images On Screen

Dear Friends,

Hello! A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS 2006 to all of you.

I have joined the forum just today.

We are doing a project for an auditorium and the prime consideration of the project was to show 3 multiimages on the screen from a single projector at the same time.

We chose and NEC projector and a FOR-A Mutliviewer and a Panasonic switcher.

We have DVDs as input right now. They go to the FOR-A mutliviewer MV-40S and we get the split on the screen but the image is split too. That is not want is needed. We should be able to sqeeze each DVD image completely in each individual split. It is like watching two movies on the screen full maybe squeezed but complete.

Is this possible?

The idea was that is there are two presentation say one comparision data which is always to be shown in one split of the screen and the other split some other data.

Let me know how this can be done.

Regards,

Umesh

Can't you run three instances of the same programme at the same time on one output? I have Vegas 6 an editing programme which will alow me to do this.

You should get a player that allows stretching of the DVD window to any size without borders, this should allow two instances of the player to be placed on screen. The video files should be on the drive (not dvd rom) else you may have overload/stuttering playback issues.

VLC Media Player might be able to do it a bit better than Windows Media Player.

I'm sure there will be other borderless players around.

Shouldnt be too hard to knock up in a program in say Delphi that can stretch two videos vertically to one display too.
