Unhappy Further Sanyo Z3 problems

Hi all,

Recently had a problem with colour uniformity on my PJ so I sent it off for repair. Its come back better but the problem is still there but nowhere near as bad so I can live with it but I now seem to have another problem, uneven black, it look fine on most of the screen but the top right and bottom left corners seem almost green, very distracting in 2.35:1 movies I tell you. Is it worth sending it back? I put a sheet of paper up to the lens and its definetly outputting green in those corners, is there anything I can do? or is this just an LCD thing?

That doesn't sound right to me, sounds like you have a duff Z3.

Looks like I'll be sending it back then, shall I have words with Sanyo?

green haze issue affected an old philips LCD I had after 2500 hours,
I was advised it was colour filters and was non-repairable
Bulb outlasted projector (and warranty !)

Only 180 hrs, been back for repair once already, now has a different problem, sounds like a turkey, I'd be demanding a new Z4.

Well GM Services have said that since its had an LCD prism replacment that the factory settings wont be correct, the software that Sanyo supply them is a bit ropey so it may have to go back to Sanyo
