samsung sp50 disassemble

samsung sp50 disassemble

anyone tried to seperate the screen from the base? i need to be able to do this as it has to be transported and taken up some very windy slim stairs and there is no hope of doing it in one shot

any help or advice appreciated

Hi. just about the tv. It's not possible to seperate the screen from the base. The light engine's incorporated into the base and as such is calibrated to be left that way. I have the sp50 and have moved it around by holding the screen. it's well able for it.

i have been told that it is possible to seperate them ,told it was a couple of screws and the screen comes off and there is one ribbon cable attached ... just wanted to double check before i attempt it
