Epson EMP-TW10H

Just ordered the above projector from OYYY.co.uk for £464.13 + P&P there is only 1 more left in stock at that price I was told so if anyone wants one order it now!

I have paid the extra delivery charge (£25.00) and it's being delivered tomorrow morning.

I hope i've made the right decision as i've been looking for ages trying to make my mind up so I eventually decided let's get a budget one first then if we use on a regular basis then I will upgrade.

I am hoping to produce a 6 foot wide image from a throw distance of approx 9 foot, I hope this will be ok with no screen door effect.

Ross007,

I wonder if you got the last one?

Callipo,

I know I have already seen you pictures and to be honest that helped me make my mind up.

Sadup,

Second thoughts, best thing to do is to advertise it in the classifieds section on these forums stating a price as this makes it fair to everyone.

Cheers

I've found the 10H to be a uperb choice personally.

Mine is set up at a throw of 13feet, ceiling mounted (using an Argos speaker bracket & some MDF), and projecting onto an 8ft (horizontal) screen made of blackout material stretched over a frame made from 2*1.

It's used mainly in the evening/night with dimmed lighting or no lighting, so I can use Theatre Black mode for optimum bulb life (I'm a miser :P ).

It takes a minute or two to get to full brightness, but once, it is, the picture is superb, and I have no screen door effect at all. I would recommend having it just SLIGHTLY out of focus to smooth the image out.

The only problem I have is that the missus hates large screens, and insists on using the TV waaay too much :o

Hi Fatgit,

What settings do you have yours set on & do you have to mess about to get a decent image?

Do you lose image quality on an 8ft screen compared say a 6ft screen?

Cheers
