Sim2 scammer on ebay...be carefull!

This guy is so obviously a rip off artist it's hardly worth mentioning but just incase someone was tempted I thought I should point it out.

A genuine seller recently sold an HT200DM for over 2 grand on ebay and some guy registered in China has suddenly come up with 15 or so identical ones for sale for next to nothing. He's even stolen the genuine sellers picture and item description.

I'm not going to post links or names but I'm sure you'll spot him if you have a look. It's scum like this that ruins ebay for us all!

I cannot believe it, i noticed this as i am in the market to purchase a sim2 projector, what the hell does he thinks hes doing.

Yeh hes got 10 feedback but have you actually looked at the feedback, it unbelievable.

He hasnt even edited the comments from the previous seller.

Thanks for pointing it out timmy c, just hope no-one falls prone to this.

Sim2's on Ebay

[/QUOTE] Yup saw these too and couldn't believe some guys had actually placed bids.
The feedback ratings were a laugh if you wanted to read 'em!
I hate people being ripped off so i reported to Ebay's "safe Harbor"....they are an absolute joke and took around THREE days to remove 26 identical listings.....still give the old "yellow men" their due they are already back at it again with more listings.
Wonder if they have any Seleco SDG700 CRT's for a fiver?

Bill

I've been trying to do my good neighbour bit and informing any bidders I see for these Sim2's that they may possibly be fake, and they should be very careful......!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've also persistently informed Ebay's "Safe Harbor" but they obviously could not care less!!!!!!!

Taking another slant..........

What if these are genuine guys.....we could all be missing on real bargains here!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way I have nothing against the "yellow men"!

I've tried to help a few people but it seems some just won't be told! I've also contacted ebay but they don't seem to be doing much.

Hopefully between us we've helped save a few from throwing their cash down the toilet anyway!
