Question Barco data 600

Can get Barco data 600 with 2 defekt tubes on QXL, max price is about 155£, my bid is now 30£.
This would be my first , and i cant afford to spend more than 1000£ on it, incl. service/ new tubes.
How is this projector for HC, how expensive are new tubes, should i go for it?
Hope you can help a noice on CRT's with this dilemma.

My advice on a PJ like that would be to leave now.
I assume defective means burnt with marks, which I'll bet my lunch money will be the Blue and Green that have gone.

Recon to spend £550 per tube to have them replaced

The BD600 is a nice projector it will take Composite video, and S-Video if the decoder card is present. It will take RGB and combined sync. and would show up to VGA. It will not accept component

All the contols are manual pots inside the projector.

Make sure the projector has the little contol module on the back for contrast and Brightness
or
it must have an RCVDS400 with connecting cable.

Without one of these you will not be able to make it work!

I wish you well.
