Thank you Jeff, straight to the point! It seems to me that the smaller the LCD picture, the better it looks! But then with DLP there is the rainbow effect, maybe soon someone will improve on both of these systems?

The technology to look out for is LCOS (Liquid Crystal over Silicon), JVC had a patent on this which they call DiLA, the patent has now expired and you will soon see lots of products that use this. LCOS has low screen door like DLP but no rainbows.
