Can I go scart to component into Sim2?

hi there, I was wondering whether a scart to component cable would work if I plugged it from my cable box into my R12 unit. Do I need a converter for this or would plugging the component cables straight into the RGB inputs suffice?

thanks

Scart does not support Component, however it does hve RGBS capabilities assuming your source device output has the same. select the 15Khz RGBS Input on the projector.

ok, I got a scart to component cable. I plugged the scart end into my pace 1000 cable tv box and the component end into my rgb component sockets on the R12 unit.

It doesn't work

Do you think I'll need a converter?

thanks
