Where`s the lamp hours reading on Z3??

Where`s the lamp hours reading on Z3??

Hi as above ,I can`t find the lamp hours reading on the z3. I`ve found the reset in the menu but not the actual hours the lamp`s used.
Where`s it hiding please??

Hold down the power button on the PJ for about 30 seconds.

It comes up eventually.

Just tried and it didn`t work. "pressed from red light for 30 secs then it went green.

Do you press and hold the power whilst the machine is on or off ?

I assumed it was on but in the world of av nothing can be taken for granted.

I wonder why Sanyo have hidden the lamp counter away (not even telling us in the manual how to get at it) ?

Could it be they don't want us complaining if the lamp pops with less than the published life on it, surely not
