Cool Have I bought the correct DVI Cable for Infocus PJ

Hi,
I should have probably asked this before spending my cash, but is this the correct cable between my OPPO dvd player ( DVI ) and the DVI (Female) - M1 DA adaptor that I have for an Infocus Screenplay projector.

Adaptor pic here -

Lindy DVI Cable here -

Any help/info appreciated

Mike.

It looks fine: DVI-D to DVI-D cable + DVI-D(F) to M1 adapter

The real test is going to be when you fire a signal over the cable; you don't say how long the DVI-D cable run is.

Best regards

Joe

Hi Joe,
good to hear from you, thanks for confirming the cable is correct, the length I have is 10m.

I know this is over the recommended 7m for DVI, however I wanted to make sure it was the correct cable before opening the packet and had to send it back.

I will test it soon and if no good then will have to rethink the positioning of DVD player in relation to the projector.
