Optoma H56 and Laptop Settings

Hi, I currently wresteling with setting my Optoma H56 projector up with my evesham voyager laptop. Does anyone know how to get a really good image that does not shudder and one where I can actually read the text on the screen. Any help much appreciated.

You need to run the laptop output at 60hz for NTSC and 50hz for PAL, as that might be why you're getting stuttering images. I don't know if that adjustment is possible on your laptop though. Myabe Powerstrip software will work?

You also need to output from the laptop the same resolution as the projector if possible, which is 1024 x 768, otherwise some scaling will be done to make it fit the projectors display panel, and that will make it fuzzy.

Gary.
