advice.. comments .. views anyone.... greatly appreciated

Going to stick my Benq 6100 on ebay in v near future as it's great but is a 800 600 machine & now all the stuff I watch is 16 9. So have decided either a Sanyo Z3 or a Panasonic AE700. Anyone have any comments on which is better as all the reviews I've seen say they're both FAB.

thanks
ED

Whats the thinking here.. worth the bother of ordering & paying shipping & accepting delivery & crossing fingers that all is well vs. double price> Ahhhh.. answered my own question I think.

Any good on-line shops to recommend?

thanks

The Z3 has two component, VGA, S-Video and HDMI, and actually runs 3db quieter than the Pany, 23db to 26db. The only connection the Pany has extra is an RGB Scart, but the Z3 has one extra set of component, so it's swings and roundabouts.

I'm sure I'd be dead chuffed with either, compared with the Benq 6100 I'm currently using. Must start saving! Would lean towards the Sanyo if for no other reason it's available in black which I far prefer to silver.

Guys,, I've seen somewhere on here people saying 'can see hardly any vertical banding (or is it blanking:?) Can someone enlighten me please?
thanks

Ed

VErtical banding displays vertical bands/lines on the screen. With the new powerful preset settings and filters (see Rones Z3 tweak thread) there is no more vertical banding on the Z3 (and the picture now rocks!). Happy days!

(actually that shd be "even happier days"!)
