My Sim2 is feeling sick

hi all, my Sim2 200 DMF is not working properly. On all inputs it occassionaly (about 1 per minute) flicks to a different color (the screen goes like a green, black & white color only).

Has anyone had a problem like this before?

My sim2 is over 2 years old and the lamp is about 1700 hours.

I have unplugged it and turned it back on with no difference. Its uses an R12 box which everything is plugged into. I'll try and plug it in direct but that will take some effort

thanks all

i tried it with the test patterns on and it still flickers - which means the problem is with the sim2 unit somwhere. It seems to flicker more often the longer the sim2 is left on.

any ideas?

Sounds like your unit will have to go to Sim2 to be checked.

You can contact your dealer and arrange for it to be sent back.

hi there, today i drove my projector down to sim2 who fixed it there on the spot in less than 2 hours. The color wheel sensor had to be replaced.

Thanks Sim2

I have a sim2 ht200dm. Luckily I have no probs at all with it but if I ever did, I'm really glad to hear that the service is there. Well done the people at Sim2.
