Cheapest projector I've seen, but looks crap..

Hi all, whilst surfing I stumbled across this:
http://www.boysstuff.co.uk/product.asp?id=11781&cid=

The only trouble is that it looks/is a toy and not exactly home cinema quality

Still, for someone wanting a very cheap introduction into PJ's then I suppose it might be good enough.

You will never guess what, I saw this thing a while ago and it was THAT that gave me the idea of buying a projector! I thought well if im going to spend £200 on a projector, I might aswell not waste it on a pile of rubbish, and get a proper one! One month down the road I'm looking at the £1400 BenQ PE7700!

yup

A few guys were looking at these a few months back and came to the conclusion ......................that its **** LOL

By all acounts it gives a washed out image and when you consider the tosh ET1 is only 150 quid more (well I rest my case)

But it was a good idea

Live long and prosper.....Darko

Well I spose when you put it like that you cant complaine but personally I would still opt fro the tosh for that bit more and it seems that I was wrong that PJ is 260quid which means the tosh is only 100quid more.

Come PJTX100 what would you do?????

I agree, the ET1 is a bargain, definitely worth the extra money. It was £750 in Costco only 6 months ago - and that was a few hundred quid off the RRP.

I only highlighted the link to say that if budget was absolutely everything, then there was a market for it...PJ

I agree the ET1 is much better value for money, I got one last week at £382 (oyyy.co.uk) and it's great value for the cost considering it was £800 not too long ago. I suppose the question is do you want boys stuff or mens stuff?
the ET1 is definately for real men.

Stick around long enough Tony and you'll see plenty of comments that people paying anything less than 2K for a projector are delusional cheapskates.

Not a view I subscribe to I hasten to add...PJ
