DLP Headaches and Hangovers

I know this is a bit of a strange question, but how does having a hangover effect your suceptability to DLP Headaches \ eyestrain (Guess what I was doing last night, ouch!)

I definitely find that the best cure for a hangover is a few hours on the sofa with a couple of comedies or trashy action films.

Just wondering if anyone has done any systematic testing in this area

Any form of tiredness makes you more susceptible to visual effects like rainbows or interlace lines on TV. Your brain does a load of work on sanatising visual input to make it easier and faster to process for detecting theats.

When tired less and less of this gets done so you see more of what is really there. The rainbows are always present, you just don't notice them normally.

If you have hangovers like I have hangovers then you'll be keeping your head very still which may well counter the increased susceptibility.
That said a really big moving image may make you feel sick anyway. I wouldn't recommend watching Perfect Storm if you're feeling fragile - then again I wouldn't really recommend watching PS anyway :D

I also read on a thread on avsforum that there's a correlation between motion sickness and susceptibility to DLP effects. So maybe this is another point in the DLP vs LCD debate ;-)
