Post Panasonic Digital Cinema Reality - Any Good?

Hi Folks,
Does Anyone know what Panasonic's Digital Cinema Reality circuitry does?
I've just bought a PT-L501 which doesn't have this feature. Should I have forked out a bit more for the 701 which does have it? Or is it marketing just hype?
Thanks.

Well it can only do a couple of things.
Hide video line structure by interpolating extra lines to "fill in" the line structure visible on large displays using video res material.

Deinterlace to generate a prog scanned "full frame source" depending on how the system detects the field arrangement ( reffered to as the cadence or some such by the bearded types) it can recreate a "realish" 24fps/25fps image from film originated material and hide a disparate field source ( ie stuff shot on interlaced video). Alternatively like most of the engines on most domestic gear it can screw the picture up bigo time!
