epson tw10h noise

Hello,

could anyone with a tw10h tell me whether on theatre black mode they can hear a faint to medium buzz from the bulb unit.

I remember the projector being basically quiet but now hear a noise coming from the projector.

Thanks

I can confirm that i have a quiet high pitched buzz from the front of the PJ, never noticed this before as the PJ is several feet above my viewing position? not sure if this is an issue. Have you got many hours? i have just over 500

There seems to be two noises with the bulb making the most. Only recently noticed it thats why I think it must be new. Have an engineer coming wednesday. What happens if he finds nothing wrong?

Let me know how you go. I would suggest that if nothing is found to be wrong, try another one tw10 to see if its a common fault?

Cheers

I think its because I moved it behind my watching position. Will be ceiling mounting it when I get the time.

Do you know where I can get a vga cable?

When I moved mine from in font of me on a coffee table to being mounted under a shelf directly above my head the noise really increased to the point that it really annoyed my wife. It is now back in front and everything is fine.

I think that where you sit in relation to the exhaust at the from of the projector makes a big difference. From my experience, make sure that you are behind it.
