green tint on hs50 with s97 using hdmi

i have loaned a mate's panasonic s97 to try with my sony hs50 using hdmi and component inputs. we have both noticed that although the image is slightly better on hdmi we notice a green tinting particularly with flesh tones that don't seem natural. switching back to component the tones look natural again. has anyone else noticed this. i previously tried a denon 2910 with the hs50 and did not notice the tinting.
