The Incredibles Looks like Hi Def on my 4805 !!!

Got the Incredibles on R1 DVD today and it is the best looking DVD I have ever seen. On my Infocus Screenplay 4805, it looks unbelievable. Like High Definition. The blacks are 'incredible' ( excuse the pun) and the detail is awesome.
If you haven't ordered it yet, then do it right now ! This is one movie that will get played to death on my system !!!!

Oh and there are a few from Final fantasy which also looks great ! Who ever said the 4805's resolution was rubbish????
In case you're interested, the images are 80 inches wide !!

Looking good

Can't wait to get my new screen up this weekend... then I can set up the PJ

Did you set up your SP4805 with the DVE disk? I've just bought a Pioneer DV575 to go with it... all boxed still. Itching to get this all set up... but work and weekends are too busy at mo

Yep! DVE was used to set it up , but to be honest it was so close straight out of the box that very little tweaking was needed.

Good work.

Looking forward to getting this.

I do wonder what it will look like on my new SIM2 30H

Yet to see the film - but the compensation nation sub-text appeals.

Cap.

This DVD is outstanding. Both picture and sound. Some serious bass

You're in for a real treat Cap when you see it on your 30H.

Oh and the edge 'staircasing' on some images is due to the pause on my fairly modest DVD player. When in play mode, the image edges are as smooth as silk thanks to the superb Faroudja de-interlacer.

Stunning images for what is supposed to be a budget PJ.

Changing track slightly, a recommendation of mine would be Bad Boys 2 Superbit edition. I watched this earlier on in the week and was so impressed with both the sound and visuals. Definitely one to keep for demos to friends
