Sanyo Z3 HDMI vs VGA from HTPC

Anyone else find that the VGA input from VGA on the HTPC is giving a better picture by that I actually mean a richer colour ?

I thought HDMI from the DVI on the HTPC would look better.... or at least is supposed too.

It could well be my configuration. Maybe it is my gfx card ATI x800XT PE.
I have tried with both PowerDVD6 and Zoomplayer with FFdshow.

Lastly anyone got some good z3 settings they use for gaming/movies on VGA or HDMI. I am sure there was a post about this but I cannot find it.

Thanks.
