Blue anyliser?

Anyone got a clue what this is ?

Not sure, but some test disks come with a blue piece of plastic to use with the 'blue bars test', and this allowa you to set colour saturation - the flashing boxes stop flashing when the setting is correct. Too high or low, and the boxes are visible.

That's all I can think of right now.
