I've got my chipped xbox connected to a 4805 pj via the ms hi def kit. It's great, driving game on a 4 way split , in fact anything is good this big. Get set up you will wonder how you ever manage on 32"

Dont think you can beat the 6'+ image especially! I have shown it to a few people now (in hi def) and they ahve been blown away by the pic quality.

Playing PGR2 is sensational - Halo is great but racing games are so much better.

Cant recommend enough as as BullyX said - multiplayer allows everyone to have their own 32" picture.

Most games will run faster and smoother on a PJ too.

Why?

I am not sure, but they do, case in point would be Pro Evo 4. slick on a CRT but miles better on a PJ.

Personally, I find LCD machines better for gaming than DLP.

Cheers,

Captain Benefit.

I found Halo 2 and Crimson Skies a bit dark and couldn't improve the picture using the settings (Themescene H30) Burnout, however, is awesome!!!

Here are the biggest differences for me (chipped XBOX via Epson TW10H):

-much bigger picture, benefitting especially racing games (Burnout 3!!)
-smoother picture, attributable perhaps to progressive-scan images, more "solid" picture.
-Imgaes appear to leap out of the screen (though that is dependant upon the PJ, the connection type, the screen).

Downside is that you have to get used to playing in a dark environment, due to the nature of most projectors, while playing in a well-lit room is fine for CRT tv's.

Have to say that Rocky on the xbox is a great game to play on a PJ.

Get some friends over....

'Lets get ready to rumble'
