New Member Needs Help

Hi i currently own a Sony VPLC5 which i bought via work because i could get a good deal but it is too noisy and gives out too much ambient light. I was thinking about the ae700 but some worrying comments have been made in the forums, i dont really want to spend more than Two Grand please help.

for two grand you could get a hs50 which is a bit of a no brainer, if you want an lcd and it will fit your room. other option would be infocus 5700 although it is dlp and you definatly need to demo before buying. Have a look round for a dealer who can let you demo both, best way to decide. Hs50 can be had for 1499 not sure bout the infocus but these are the quality projectors well in your budget.
