it is a superb projector, though if you do not use HD material on it, you are really not getting much out of it.
I demoed the 5700, 7205, and 777 at cedia.
With DVD playback alone the comparison between 5700 and 7205 did not justify the price differential. HD movies were a different ball game though - so i would bare what i am saying in mind.
Personally if you have a 5500 already and are not going to be using much/any HD id not upgrade. wait 1-2 years for HD to become more prolific, then get the new breed of DLP'ers in that time - that will be better than all current offerings no doubt!
