not sure if this is the right thread but...

i am thinking of getting the pansonic ae700 but i want advise on wether it is worth upgrading my dvd player to benefit from the dvi connection on the projector instead of the component connection that i have at the moment.

my current dvd player is a toshiba sd510e and i'm thinking of upgrading to denon a11 and connecting with dvi straight to the projector.

i will only use the system to watch dvd's. is it going to be worth the expense? and is the picture quality going to noticably improve?

my viewing room is small (10' x 13') and i only intend to have an 80'' diagonal fixed screen.

any advise greatly appreciated to a newcomer to projectors.
