My mate came by last night and seen the setup I have here and he loved the big screen, He has asked if I could help him sort his living room out with a basic setup, screen is no issue as he will be able get about 110 diag.

He does not want to spend to much on a projector initial, we looked and have seen a nec vt 59/695 projector for sale at reasonable cost of £60 +.

Are these projector any good for films the naive resolution on both are 720/1028, spec wise they look like they will work got home cinema but the vt695 has a dvi port were the 59 is d-sub

Any advice please
