Configuration options

This is a UK configuration query.
I currently have a TV/DVD/VHS/Cable system in my lounge and I plan on having a projector in another room with a DVD and sound system attached, I have not chosen a particular product yet.

I want to be able to view the Cable channel in the projector room, so before I decorate I need to run a cable from the lounge to the projector room for the cable channel. Initially I only want to be able to view the cable channel currently being watched in the lounge.

Any ideas what type of cable to use and where it should hook up to at each end?
Anyone got any options or suggestions?
I don't want to have a separate cable box on the projector room.
