Epson eh-tw3200 brand new and overheating

Hi

I've just had my new Epson eh-tw3200 projector delivered today.
Set it up.
Watched a film for 30 mins in Eco mode then it switched itself off.
The red light was flashing on top for high temp.
I let it cool down, followed correct steps then tried again.
30 mins it did the same.

It's ventilated correctly and air vents not blocked.

Anyone think of anything I'm doing wrong or does it sound faulty.

Thanks

Did you hear the fan running or not (they are fairly quiet) It don't sound right to me, I should get in touch with the supplier and insist on a new one rather than an engineer call out.

When the red light comes on I can hear the whooshing of the fan.
To be honest I can't hear that much of a fan before the overheat kicks in.
The fan on my Sanyo was quite loud, you could hear it whirring bit like in a pc.
On this it's really quiet.
I don't know if the fan is working or not.
Thanks

They are quiet but you can hear them, anyway if this is a brand new machine delivered last day or two get the supplier to exchange for another new unit.
