Z2 DVI HDCP only?

hi,
Can anyone advise if the Sanyo Z2 DVI socket only accepts HDCP material or will it display non HDCP material via DVI-D cable?
I have a Centrestage CS1 (DVI but not HDCP)connected to my Z2 via DVI-D but get no picture.
thanks

DVI sockets that are HDCP compliant should work fine with non HDCP sources as not all source material is incrypted anyway. If it doesn't work then it's a configuration issue or an EDID communication issue between the boxes, not HDCP.

Can absolutely confirm it since I received my DVI-D cable last night and was messing around with my PC.

Did you go into the "input 2" settings and change it to DVI/HDCP? By default it is looking for an analogue RGB signal.

...I think the Z2 needs a specific firmware version or later to support HDCP....

Worth a search to confirm...
