Advice, new projector

Brief history... my first projector was an Optoma HD33, was so excited to get it since i moved to new home where i had the option to have a dedicated room, that didnt take the time to read about problems DLP may give, my fault i know...
So once i had the room fully accomodated, dark walls, no light, 106" screen installed, it was time to start enjoying this new toy, but to my disgrace, looks like im so rainbow sensitive, i was seeing it so often, i mean every few seconds/minutes, i had to end selling it, as i was not enjoying any bit.

Problem now is that i really liked the image of this DLP, along with the fact that its sealed, so changes to get dust blobs are almost none, but since rainbows killed my options to keep it, now i find myself locked to either LCD or DLA...

No changes to get a demo and retailers are giving pretty bad time for making returns, so it's almost buy and keep it even if not satisfact..

My uses are movies and gaming. From all reading im doing, i gathered this:

LCD -> Epson TW3200:
Pros: 1k, good warranty 3 years for both projector/lamp and lens shift.

Cons: Dust blobs, this worries me alot and image, compared to HD33, will there be much loss in quality?. No 3D, but im not really interested in it.

DLA -> JVC X30:
Pros: Keep reading it's sealed like DLP, is this true? no worryes about dust?, motorised lens. I suppose image quality would be much better than the HD33 i had. 3D.

Cons: price, currently, here where i live its almost three times the epson. Warranty is not so good either, with 2 years for projector and 1 year /1000 hours for lamp... along with rated lamp life of 3000 vs 4000 on epson.

I have the money to get either of both. My main worry as said are dust blobs, but i dont know its really worth paying 3k for the jvc just for that (even though image quality would be superior, but if the epson can keep with HD33, im happy). On the other hand this epson i keep reading about people with as much a six and seven units send because of this, so... i dont know what to do...

It is unfair to compare the two as one is 3 times the price of the other! If you have the money then the JVC is the better projector. Remember it is much bigger so you should have the room for it.

Dust blobs used to be a problem on LCDs years ago but things have improved a lot and it is nothing like the issue it used to be.

I would do a search for reliability on this forum because I don't remember Epson being singled out for problems.

If your pj is going to be in your dedicated hc room then dust should be less of an issue. Have a look at the epson tw6000 which will also do 3D.

I've been using my tw6000 in the living room of a house that is dusty as hell because an extension is being built on the side and you could vac every day and it would make little difference and I've had no dust blobs since I got it in December

If you are considering the X30 then you should also see the Sony and the Epson 9000. Demo, demo, demo is the key, and read, read, read.
