Thumbs up Fix for Z3 locking up using HDMI

Just recieved this email from my Z3 supplier:

Hi,

I have some good news. Sanyo have come up with a soultion. There will be
a software patch available shortly (next few days) to fix the problem.
This is something that you will be able to apply your self and so not
posting of projectors is necessary.

I will keep you posted.

Regards

XXXX

I'm not going to get my hopes up as to being able(allowed) to apply a ,what I assume is a firmware fix myself, but it is promising. Pity I didn't wait for this before I ripped up my floorboards yesterday to put in a VGA cable
